Cédric Marc visited the Harlequins on his 'rugby union' voyage around the world. Cédric comes from the south west of France, not far from Biarritz, where rugby union is like Australian Rules is to Melbourne. He started his journey in South America and after spending time in New Zealand and Australia he will travel onto to India and Nepal (if it's still there). The trip was originally planned for one year but when his girl friend announced that she was pregnant four days before they left France it was decided to reduce the scope of the trip to six months.
We did our best to host Cédric and he was pleased to be able to see the Quins in action (I have over 400 photos of the 1st and 2nd XV matches that Cédric took during his visit) and meet some of the players and supporters after the game while watching the Super 15 semi-finals. If anyone is visiting the SW of France and would like to see some rugby I'm sure Cédric would be pleased to help.
You can follow Cédric's trip on his Facebook Page.
