U13

Quins v Southern Districts

It was a great start to the season for our team. We all played as a unit and tried to follow the Plan suggested by our Coach. The First Half we played against the wind and were a bit rusty in the beginning.

However Lachie P gave us the first breakthrough with first try and then Aseri U Sneaked in with a couple more.

Overall it was great teamwork and we passed the ball regularly. Our defence was strong but we were a bit loose on the clean outs.

I scored a try and had a chance to show my Signature move to my team mates.

Finally I would like to thank the Referees, Touch Judges and Southern Districts team for playing a fair game with Sportmanship and big Hearts!

Man Of the Match : Aseri Uluikadavu (3 tries)

Wining Team: Harlequins.

U12 Maroon

Today we played Wyndham City at their ground.

We played super well.

We scored first and at half time were down by one bit in the second half we didn't spread the ball and we lost.

It was definitely one of our best games ever against Wyndam.

Good job Quins.

U12 Blue

This weeks game was our first Harlequins match as a team.

Our captain was Cheeseburger and the captain of the forwards was William they both did outstanding jobs as captains.

Despite a good fight in the first half we still lost the game, but in the second half we turned it around and scored two try's which meant we drew the second half, Box Hill still won but this was just our first game and we still have a big season ahead.

I would like to mention our to try scorer's Trystan and Darcy, Darcy scored a try off the back of the scrum and ran down the blind side. Trystan grounded the ball just before it went over the dead ball line and this was Trystans first try ever in Rugby.

Great game boys keep up the hard work.
