Quins finished the Home & Away season on a high with a comfortable 48-12 victory over the Footscray Bulldogs. As last week the team scored two tries early to lead 12-0 before Footscray got a try back but unlike the week before the team did not force the pass and rush the play too much, building up a comfortable lead by half time. Quins found space every time they went wide once the forwards secured quick go forward ruck ball with the outside backs scoring seven of the teams eight tries. Another highlight was the strength and control of the forwards rolling maul which has been a real highlight over the last month. The win has secured 2nd place and a major semi final encounter with Box Hill next week.

2nd grade finished their season with a 69-15 victory allowing them to win the Minor Premiership for the second successive year and earn a semi final match up, also with Box Hill.

3rd grade got up 45-28 to finish the year in second place and will face Melbourne next week. The big news of the round was 4th grade winning their must win game to make the finals with a 44-33 over Melbourne University to secure 4th place. They will face Souths in a must win knockout semi final. The women struggled going down 58-22 against a sharp and committed University Panthers team – the women have one more home & away game before they start finals but the girls can't move from 4th place.
